Eight people, one very small boat

One Piece has been running since 1997, so some people taking this quiz grew up with it and others met the crew on Netflix. Either way, what sticks is the same: a handful of oddballs who look like a terrible team on paper and somehow work. This quiz matches you with one of eight of them, based on how you'd behave if you were stuck on a boat with your friends for a long time.

Who's aboard

Luffy wants something enormous and has no plan beyond going after it. Zoro trains, naps, and gets lost, usually in that order. Nami keeps track of the route, the weather, and every cent anyone owes her. Usopp is frightened of almost everything and keeps showing up anyway. Sanji runs the kitchen and won't let anyone go hungry. Chopper is shy, easily flustered, and the first one to patch you up. Robin reads, watches, and says unsettling things in a pleasant voice. Brook plays music, tells bad jokes about being bones, and keeps his promises.

Crew life, not battles

Fans love ranking the crew by strength. This quiz ignores that completely. The twelve questions are about living together: who grabs which job, what happens to the last plate of food, how you get through a night on watch, where you'd vote to go next. None of them names a character or a famous scene, so you can't steer toward a favorite. It takes about two minutes, and there's no sign-up.

Manga, anime, or Netflix

Eiichiro Oda's manga started in Weekly Shōnen Jump in 1997, Toei Animation's anime followed in 1999, and Netflix's live-action series arrived in 2023. The result pages describe personalities you'll recognize from any of the three, and they stay away from bounties, recent chapters, and anyone's backstory, so there are no major spoilers wherever you are in the story.

Then send it to the people you'd actually travel with, and see who ends up holding the map.
